Thank you for showing interest in the Vallejo Raiders Cheerleading Program! The Vallejo Raiders Cheerleading program teaches the fundamentals of cheerleading to girls ages 5-15. Cheerleading is one of the fastest growing sports across the nation. The VRC program provides youth with an opportunity to learn the value of teamwork, good sportsmanship and community pride with hard work and dedication. As an Organization we promote strong minds and strong bodies. Cheerleading is time consuming and physically demanding and for participants and their families. Participants learn the fundamentals of cheerleading including cheer clinics, game cheers and competition dance/cheer routines. With the support of parents we use a disciplined strength-based approach to coaching. All of our coaches are required to pass background checks and demonstrated skills in the art of teaching cheerleading.
Cheerleading Skill Training opportunities are available for coaches and student demonstrators who are interested. We believe in the giving back philosophy. Student demonstrators encouraged to come out and become team trainers. They are under the supervision of the Head Coach. Student demonstrators must have a good academic standing to participate in our programs. The VRC goal is to teach student demonstrator leadership skills, which they can apply to their daily lives and future endeavors.
